Looking Ahead: A Grounded Start to 2026

There is something about the first week of January that invites a quiet reset. The holiday decorations are packed away, the house feels a little lighter, and there is a natural pull toward creating a home that feels calm, intentional, and ready for the year ahead.

At Grounded Homes, this is one of our favorite moments. We slow down just enough to reflect on the homes we brought to life last year and the clients who trusted us with their spaces. We think about the conversations that shaped each project, the details that made a room feel finished, and the choices that helped a home feel more like the people who live in it.
As we look toward 2026, a few themes are already rising to the surface. Clients are asking for interiors that feel warm and personal while still feeling classic. They want spaces that support the way they actually live. They want comfort, clarity, and pieces that will last. We love seeing this shift because it is exactly how we approach design. Thoughtful rather than rushed. Meaningful rather than momentary.

This year, we are excited to continue creating homes that feel lived in and loved. Homes that hold family routines, celebrations, quiet mornings, and everything in between. We are also expanding the ways we support our clients with even more attention on communication, guidance, and a streamlined process that removes the overwhelm.
Most of all, we are grateful. A new year brings new projects, new stories, and new opportunities to design homes that bring ease to daily life. We are ready for it.
Here is to a grounded start to 2026 and the beautiful spaces yet to come.
